Haley Pacholec, NP
Having heart issues in her youth led Haley Pacholec to become a nurse. Now, she is a family nurse practitioner working with the interventional cardiology unit. This is the team that specializes in blood flow to the heart, such as placing stents and opening blockages, using thin tubes called catheters. In this role, Pacholec enjoys seeing the same patients frequently over the course of their treatment and follow-ups. She loves making connections and providing a familiar face for patients.
Pacholec earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Walla Walla University in Washington. She worked in the intensive care unit and cardiac catheter lab before returning for her advanced degree. She received her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner at Gonzaga University in Washington.
At home, Pacholec enjoys baking sourdough bread, experimenting with new recipes and hanging out with her husband and German shepherd. She also likes to get outside and has several outdoor hobbies, including running, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, crabbing on the Oregon coast, and downhill/cross-country skiing.
