Michael Gardner, MD

Heart specialist Michael Gardner, MD, works with patients across the range of heart disease. Dr. Gardner chose this field because heart disease is very common, but treatments are rapidly improving. He believes he can help people to live longer, healthier lives through prevention and treatment.
Dr. Gardner earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He served his residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gardner enjoys hiking with his wife and labradoodle dog. He also enjoys playing tennis and cheering for the Portland Timbers soccer team.
